Street art in San Francisco is only getting better and better! Graffiti USA is a California based mural company with artists that come from a street art and graffiti background. Much of our most recent work came from live art events. Therefore, we’ll begin by focusing on the artwork completed in these events.
The first two photos show our San Francisco mural artists working on smaller canvases. Using a combination of spray paint, hand brushes, and stencils, these artists do more with less space.
Speaking of stencils, they served us well while creating this piece of exterior window art for Mod Pizza! We took an outline of the Mod Pizza badge logo and created a stencil out of it! All we had to do after that was spray paint over the window repeatedly, placing the stencil in different places and using different colors each time.
San Francisco Indoor Murals
Indoor murals are often created for local businesses, as well as corporate offices. Every business wants something different for their interiors. Therefore, we created simple logos and designs for Bosch Auto Parts. Simultaneously, San Francisco’s local CrossFit center wanted something more edgy and urban. We responded by creating a mean-looking skull in between the words “O-Town” and “CrossFit”.
Street Art for Events in SF
Finally, we created this 3-D artwork for Under Armour, specifically promoting #erasealldoubt – a hashtag used to encourage physical fitness and the competitive spirit! We loved working on this mural, as it gave us an incredible opportunity to work with bold, beautiful colors.
We hope that these photos prove that street art in San Francisco is as versatile of an advertising medium as TV and print!
