Basketball Court Graffiti
New York meets Los Angeles in this colorful basketball court mural. A VIP couple commissioned Graffiti Arts to create a one-of-a-kind street art mural. The client shared specific icons and words to use and they trusted us with the rest. Along with trusting our graffiti ability, they encouraged our input. So when we suggested the mural not fill the entire wall, they gave it a shot. That allowed for some of the beautiful and raw surfaces to come through in a few areas. Unlike other art forms, graffiti should not be “contained”. Undoubtedly illustrated by this organic border.
We used a punchy color palette, to ensure the basketball court graffiti popped off against the muted environment. We are happy with the results and thrilled by the clients reaction to their new mural.
