Street Art Remix. Freshpet came to Graffiti Arts with an interesting opportunity. Their desire was to take what is a very clean graphic, towards a more living, painterly direction. Above all, the design needed to work in the allocates space. In addition, we needed to consider the various viewpoints. We were given design elements used in their various marketing efforts.
After we suggested a couple different styles, the committee preferred a version that pulled from impressionist references. A main request, from Freshpet, was to bring life to the mural content. The CEO & interior design team wanted a street art remix on their branded graphics. With brush strokes and also a little bit of splatter we tried to capture the warmth of sunlight & the breeze in the hills. After a handful of creative rounds, we achieved the right feel, and Freshpet approved the installation. Lastly, the Freshpet design team assisted with consideration of surrounding tones and materials, as a full interior renovation was also happening around our install. The approach, the concept and the execution details all maintained Freshpet’s wholistic perspective throughout.
Especially important was the placement of each element. Intentionally placed to have optimal impact.
In contrast to the brands normal graphic use of these design elements. We used multiple brush techniques to achieve depth and texture.
