Los Angeles  Sports Mural Artists for Hire

Big sporting events create moments people want to be part of, not simply watch. A custom mural gives brands, teams, venues, sponsors, and event organizers a physical place for that excitement to land. It can turn a watch party into a destination, give a sponsor activation its own visual identity, or create a photo spot guests naturally want to share.

The artwork can be completed before guests arrive or painted live while the event unfolds. Either approach gives your audience something they can see, photograph, and connect with while the game stays at the center of the experience.

Graffiti Arts creates custom murals for sporting events, branded experiences, venues, and public-facing campaigns. Our team plans around venue rules, event schedules, guest movement, brand guidelines, and production needs. If you’re planning a sports event in Los Angeles, we create sports murals that feel connected to the occasion and make sense within the space you’re using

Hire a Mural Artist For Your Favorite Sporting Event

Los Angeles has no shortage of reasons to bring fans together. Football, baseball, basketball and major soccer events bring international crowds across the region. Add the FIFA World Cup and Olympic Games, and brands have plenty of moments worth building an experience around.

A custom mural gives that experience something physical. Your artwork can welcome guests, carry sponsor messaging, celebrate a team, create a photo moment, or give a fan zone a personality of its own.

Super Bowl

Los Angeles has hosted the Super Bowl at some of its most recognizable sports venues. The first Super Bowl took place at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum in 1967, while the Rose Bowl hosted Super Bowl XXVII in 1993. SoFi Stadium then hosted Super Bowl LVI in 2022, and will host Super Bowl LXI on February 14, 2027.

The 2027 game gives brands another chance to be part of a week that stretches well beyond kickoff. Super Bowl events can fill hotels, restaurants, private venues, sponsor spaces, and fan gatherings throughout the region, giving each activation its own audience and setting. That is where a mural can make your event feel like yours.

At Graffiti Arts, we build football artwork around your brand, approved team references, player-inspired imagery, sponsor messaging, and LA details. The finished piece can become the backdrop for your activation, while live painting gives guests something to watch before the game even begins.

World Series

October hits differently in Los Angeles when the Dodgers are in the postseason. Dodger Stadium sits in Chavez Ravine above downtown, and its history runs deep enough to give any baseball event plenty of creative material. The Dodgers have won multiple World Series titles, with their 2024 championship adding another recent chapter for fans to celebrate.

The World Series also gives brands a reason to create their own baseball experience outside the ballpark. Watch parties, sports bars, hospitality events, corporate gatherings, and sponsor activations can all borrow from the excitement without looking like another generic baseball setup.

We create murals around the moments fans already care about. A piece might pull from Dodgers history, baseball icons, championship imagery, LA landmarks, or a sponsor’s own campaign. The goal is to give your guests something that feels worth stopping for, while giving your event a visual memory that lasts beyond the final inning.

NBA Finals

When the NBA playoffs arrive, Crypto.com Arena becomes one of downtown LA’s biggest sports gathering points. The arena is home to the Los Angeles Lakers and has hosted six Lakers championship seasons since opening, giving the building plenty of basketball history to draw from.

A Finals event does not have to happen inside the arena to feel connected to that energy. A brand might host a watch party nearby, build a hospitality experience for clients, or create a fan activation around a playoff game.

Our team turns those settings into part of the event with custom basketball artwork. Designs can celebrate the Lakers, highlight a player, bring championship imagery into the room, or build around your own campaign. Add live painting, and guests get to watch the piece develop while the game night is happening around them.

FIFA Club World Cup

Los Angeles has already welcomed club football from around the globe. The 2025 FIFA Club World Cup brought matches to the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, with clubs including Paris Saint-Germain, Atlético de Madrid, Inter Milan, River Plate, and others taking part in the tournament. The city has also hosted major World Cup matches and finals at the Rose Bowl.

That international audience creates a different kind of event atmosphere. Supporters arrive with club colors, national pride, scarves, jerseys, chants, and plenty of reasons to take photos before they even reach their seats.

Graffiti Arts builds artwork around that sense of identity. A mural might bring together club colors, player imagery, national references, tournament branding, or recognizable LA details. Place it at a fan festival, hospitality area, sponsor activation, or event entrance, and the artwork becomes part of the welcome.

Daytona 500

The Daytona 500 happens in Florida, but NASCAR has its own Southern California history. Auto Club Speedway in Fontana has hosted NASCAR racing for decades, giving Southern California fans a local connection to the sport. Racing events, automotive gatherings, dealerships, sports bars, and watch parties keep that interest going outside the track.

For a Daytona 500 event, the race itself gives you plenty of visual material. Cars, numbers, checkered flags, pit crews, racing suits, sponsor marks, and driver references can all become part of the artwork without making the event feel like a standard advertisement.

Our team at Graffiti Arts creates motorsports artwork around the identity of the event and the brand behind it. A mural can give an automotive campaign a strong backdrop, turn a viewing party into a branded experience, or give guests something to photograph while waiting for the green flag.

Olympics 2028

Los Angeles has hosted the Olympic Games twice already, in 1932 and 1984. In 2028, the city will make history again when the LA28 Games return, making Los Angeles the first city to host the Olympics three times. The Games run July 14 through July 30, 2028, with the Paralympics following August 15 through August 27.

The venues alone give brands a lot to work with. The Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum will host its third Olympic Games, while SoFi Stadium will host the Olympic Opening Ceremony alongside the Coliseum and later become an Olympic swimming venue. Intuit Dome will host Olympic basketball, while competition will spread across venues in Long Beach, Carson, Pasadena, Venice, and other parts of Southern California.

That gives Olympic artwork a story bigger than a logo on a wall. Graffiti Arts creates murals that can celebrate a sport, highlight athletes, connect with LA’s Olympic history, or bring a sponsor’s campaign into the Games conversation. For viewing events, community programs, hospitality spaces, and brand activations, the artwork gives people something physical to experience during one of the city’s biggest sporting moments.

Indianapolis 500

The Indianapolis 500 belongs to Indianapolis, but its reach goes much further than the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Race fans across Los Angeles follow the event through sports bars, automotive communities, private viewing parties, dealerships, and motorsports gatherings.

The race also comes with its own visual language. The Yard of Bricks, open-wheel cars, famous oval, checkered flags, driver numbers, and victory celebrations give an event plenty of details people recognize instantly.

Graffiti Arts brings those details into artwork built around your gathering. A mural can give an automotive brand a backdrop for a campaign, add character to a viewing party, or turn a private hospitality space into something guests remember. The artwork carries the spirit of race day without pretending the race itself is happening in LA.

Stanley Cup Final

Hockey has a strong place in Los Angeles sports history. The Los Angeles Kings won their first Stanley Cup in 2012 and captured a second championship in 2014, with both title runs becoming part of the city’s sports identity. Crypto.com Arena remains home to the Kings today, alongside the Lakers and Sparks.

That history gives a Stanley Cup event plenty of local material to play with. A watch party might celebrate the Kings, focus on the competing teams, or build its own championship theme around the series.

Graffiti Arts creates hockey artwork for bars, private events, sponsor activations, hospitality spaces, and fan gatherings. Team colors, hockey imagery, championship references, player-inspired artwork, and LA details can all become part of the concept. A live painting session can also give guests something to follow while the series plays out.

Recent Sports Mural Projects We’ve Brought to Life

The right piece can promote a game, introduce a product, create a photo moment, or give fans something to talk about while they wait for the action. We’ve created event artwork in settings that range from major sports activations to gaming expos, with each project shaped around the audience and the experience.

How We Bring Every Mural to Life

Tell Us What You’re Planning

The best place to start is with your actual event. Tell us where it is happening, how much wall space you have, when guests arrive, and what the venue requires. Brand guidelines, reference images, access notes, and setup details also help us build around the realities of your event instead of guessing.

Build the Right Creative Direction

Once we understand the event, we develop artwork that fits the audience and setting. Your brand, team references, campaign message, venue, and event theme all shape the concept. You review the direction with us, share your thoughts, and approve the artwork before production begins.

Bring the Mural to the Event

When the event arrives, our artists arrive ready too. We work around your setup, schedule, access requirements, and approved design while keeping the process organized. If you’ve chosen live painting, guests get to watch the artwork take shape while your event carries on around it.

Why Brands and Event Teams Choose Graffiti Arts

A sporting event already has plenty happening behind the scenes. Your mural should make the experience easier, not create another moving part for you to manage. Graffiti Arts keeps the creative work organized while giving you a clear point of contact throughout the project.

  • Artist-led creative direction: Valentino Mikalef oversees the artwork and keeps the creative vision focused on your event.
  • Hands-on project management: You have a dedicated point of contact who keeps the project moving and communicates the next steps.
  • Artists across different markets: Our vetted network gives your project access to graffiti and street artists in cities across the country.
  • Built for event schedules: We plan around venue rules, setup times, production schedules, and the realities of event day.
  • Clear communication: Clients, venues, brands, and facilities teams stay informed throughout the project, so everyone knows what is happening.

More Ways to Bring Art Into Your Event

A mural can carry the visual identity of your event, but some campaigns need more than one type of artwork. Graffiti Arts offers several formats that can work together across venues, fan experiences, sponsor spaces, and promotional campaigns.

Using several formats can give a larger campaign a consistent visual thread. Each piece serves its own purpose while supporting the same event and brand.

Give Your Los Angeles Sporting Event Something People Will Remember

Fans already arrive ready to cheer, take photos, meet friends, and talk about the game. A custom mural gives them another reason to stop, creating a physical part of the event that connects your brand with the experience.

Graffiti Arts builds the artwork around your audience, venue, campaign, and schedule. The result feels like something that belongs at the event, rather than a logo placed on an empty wall.

Have a sporting event coming up? Reach out through our contact page, call 646-801-6024, or email art@muralartist.co with your event details. We’ll talk through the space, timeline, access, and creative direction, then help map out the artwork before event day.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does a sporting event mural cost?

The budget depends on the wall size, surface, artwork complexity, event setup, and production requirements. A portable piece for a private event will have different needs than a large venue installation. Share your wall details, event date, and creative direction, and Graffiti Arts will provide a clear project estimate.

Do sports event murals in Los Angeles require permits?

Permit requirements depend on the property, venue, wall, installation type, and local rules. Indoor artwork in a privately managed venue may only need approval from the property or event team. Outdoor and public-facing installations can involve additional permissions, and Graffiti Arts reviews those requirements early in the planning process.

Can you create a mural for a live sporting event?

Yes. Live painting works especially well for watch parties, fan festivals, sponsor activations, and corporate events. Guests can watch the artwork develop throughout the event, giving them something to interact with while the mural becomes part of the night’s experience.

How far in advance should I book a sports mural?

Earlier planning gives everyone more room to handle creative development, venue coordination, artist scheduling, and production details. Major sporting events can also create busy schedules for venues and artists. Graffiti Arts reviews your event date early and builds the artwork around the time available.

Will I approve the artwork before painting begins?

Yes. Graffiti Arts develops a full-color concept before production begins. You can review the direction, share feedback, and approve the final artwork before anything is painted at the venue.

Can you include team or sponsor branding?

Yes. Artwork can include approved team references, sponsor marks, campaign messaging, player-inspired imagery, event themes, and other brand elements. Graffiti Arts works within your existing brand guidelines while keeping the finished mural interesting for the audience.

Can you paint a mural inside a stadium or event venue?

Yes. Sports murals can work inside stadiums, arenas, hospitality areas, sponsor lounges, fan zones, restaurants, hotels, offices, and other approved spaces. Our team works with venue contacts on access, setup, wall conditions, timing, and production requirements.

Can you provide sporting event murals outside Los Angeles?

Yes. Graffiti Arts works with clients across the country through a nationwide network of vetted graffiti and street artists. If your event takes place in another city, the team can coordinate the appropriate artists and production plan for the location.
