PETA mural in Brooklyn, NY

Brooklyn Mural Ad. We worked with PETA on a campaign for a COVID mural. The artwork highlights an origin theory about the virus. Particularly depicting the theory around human’s interactions with wild animals. Undoubtedly, it can be difficult to secure a wall for heavily politicized topics. This Brooklyn mural ad was no different. In addition, PETA narrowed our options somewhat. We were provided a map of animal processing plants that they wanted the mural to live near. Our inventory is pretty deep in New York in particular. It turns out, there are a lot of processing plants in the Boroughs of NYC. Definitely allowing multiple options to choose from.

PETA provided the design and we were able to approve a location. Without a doubt, the mural ad was in the heart of Brooklyn with good visibility. Car traffic is consistent. Additionally, foot traffic is a big plus. The art is within .5 miles of a couple of their targets. During such an unpredictable and often terrible year for businesses and employment, it was interesting to see first hand that some work is created by the very thing that changed the status quo.
