Graffiti Arts connected with Ladidadi Events to help provide a team building experience for their client. Atomic Brands, is a young spirited, privately owned alcohol beverage company. Their team building event was AB’s “Wintercamp”, a sales kickoff for their Chicago team. Absolutely happy to step in to provide our expertise in live graffiti workshops.
We worked with Ladidadi to create a custom “Miami” themed design for their 80 person graffiti workshop. The mural design that the AB team agreed on said “Hola from Miami” with the word “Miami” in big bold lettering. Thus, allowing the focus for the teams to add their own creative flavor to the design. Unlike their Chicago HQ, on the day of “Wintercamp” the team arrived at the JW Marriott, welcomed with perfect 80 degree Miami weather.
Our Process
Our talented host and assistant set up the spray paint, supplies, and protection gear for each person to protect their hands and clothing from any paint. Then, our host began the workshop by sharing a spray paint tutorial with the teams. Consisting of various techniques. Such as different line weights by speed and caps, blending, how to use stencils and how to use tape to create clean lines and geometric shapes. Clearly not everyone has used a spray can before. Moreover, a spray can specifically for graffiti and street art.
First, we provided a quick spray tutorial for the 4 teams. Secondly, the teams were given 45 minutes to try their new spray painting techniques. Undoubtedly, the 5’x10’ metal framed canvas was the perfect medium. The completed canvases were judged by our Host on 4 categories – Creativity, Teamwork and Technical Ability. Each team produced colorful and unique graffiti masterpieces with stencils and geometric patterns that they just learned about. In the end, only one team was picked as the winner. But, in a true team building moment, Atomic Brands leadership handed out gold medals to all the participants, because everyone at Atomic Brands is truly a winner!

We work with you to develop an outlined creative concept. The outlined artwork on the canvases prior to the workshop. Participants will learn tips and tricks to using spray paint. After the tutorial the groups work on coloring the large mural together. Finally, we can also create a competitive element through a friendly Graffiti Battle!
