Set Backdrop Mural. There is a new late night talk show called White Guy Talk Show that recently started airing on Fuse TV. Because they needed an edgy more gritty look than a traditional painted background, they naturally turned to Graffiti USA. Since we are the ‘spray paint specialists’, we helped create and paint a custom New York City style backdrop for their set. Check out some photos of the installation below. Semi-circle set flats set are lined up ready to be sprayed by our artist. Check the masonite on the ground as well. Our artists will usually protect the space well with plastic or paper. Sometimes our clients have access to additional materials also.
We’ve designed a number of set backdrops before. Murals are an interesting visual component for film! We can also capture the painting process with a video time lapse. Some companies like using this footage in a variety of promoting/marketing mediums.
