NJ Lobby Mural. We painted a custom mural in Matawan, New Jersey for an office building that was in the process of being renovated. Some of their new business residents are young, tech companies and they wanted to modernize the artwork in their common space with a mural instead of traditional paintings. So, we painted the address of the building “100” with some abstract elements. There are different hues, shades and tones of purple. This gives the wall some elements with different scale. The mural references the floor rock texture. As a result, the artwork feels more of the space. Responding to the surrounding environment is a great way to push the creative process. The ‘100’ text is a filter, almost like violet sunglasses or a gel on stage lights.
The diagonal shot above catches more of the space and picks up more of the motion in the details of the piece. All in all the project came out great and we hope the tenants feel the same way we do also. We look forward to working on the next property!
