The Miami graffiti scene gained a hundred new followers, thanks to Graffiti USA!
We recently partnered with Italy’s Uevents to arrange a graffiti workshop for a group from AXA Travel Insurance. This group was visiting Miami and taking in the surrounding culture at Wynwood Walls.
The group of 100 participants began their tour by learning what it’s like to be a graffiti artist for themselves. First, our artists walked each group through a graffiti tutorial, teaching them all about the unique medium of spray paint. Then, after practicing their art on a free wall, we broke the participants into groups to tackle AXA-branded and themed murals.
At first, many guests were rather shy. However, the group quickly warmed up to the medium and became truly excited by our team of artists. Guests literally took the shirts off their backs so our artists could spray paint their signature tag and characters onto their clothing. What an awesome and unique souvenir! Artists and participants alike had an absolute blast, and everyone went home with a huge smile on their face.
