Coke One North America (CONA) is the IT and business solutions team behind Coca-Cola bottling. A little while ago, they wanted a mural piece to serve as an ode to Coca-Cola in their office. After our thorough sketch process, CONA decided we ought to recreate a vintage ad displaying the company’s rich history. Graffiti USA is proud to show off some brand new Coca-Cola artwork, complete with retro taste!
A landscape mural in Atlanta is hard to come by. However, working with CONA gave us an opportunity to draw something different. Some stellar imagery, inspired by the Rockies and the Alps, served as the backdrop to the main character in the lower right.
In comparison, the Coke bottle looks more animated than the mountain peak. This is because our Atlanta mural artist wanted a hand painted mural. These lovingly crafted artworks allow for richness and diversity of detail that old Coca-Cola advertisements excelled at during the 40s, 50s, and 60s.
Our artist painted the majority of the mural using spray paint. The medium was perfectly suited to help capture the strong textures and rich blends in the artwork. As a result, we couldn’t be happier to play a part in continuing the long-standing advertising tradition of producing Coca-Cola artwork!
