Bowling Alley Mural for Marriott

Philadelphia Mural Artist

Marriott completed a major renovation of the their Downtown Philadelphia Marriott property in 2022. Part of the renovation addressed the amenities offered to the guests. The amenities include a small, 4-6 lane bowling alley in the ground floor of the building. We were contacted to create an abstract mural that represented the palette and energy of traditional bowling alleys and gaming spaces. Additionally, this means neons and fluorescents and a design that pops like the pins do when someone rolls a strike.

Our Philadelphia Mural Artist started with a very abstract draft.  Secondly, they added more literal bowling elements. In the later revisions the design aligned more directly with the use of the space. It was just raw concrete like a parking deck when we painted the area above what would be the lanes. Pretty cool to see it come together after the construction finished, if you are at the hotel be sure to schedule a game and check out the mural floating above the lanes.
