Outdoor logo mural on large towers. Patrick Lumber Co is based in Philomath, Oregon with a rich history that dates back 100+ years. . To celebrate their history they asked us to hand paint a logo on their chip bin. It can be seen from the road & they requested advice on color options that could work on the forest green background. After a few rounds, we created a color-way that the company approved. The finished design is both tonal and contrast colors for maximum visibility. To reach the large metal bin we had a lift delivered to site, and from the lift we could see the woods of Oregon that represent Patrick Lumber Company’s livelihood. Our thoughts are with the crew at Patrick & all of their neighbors in the West, given the fires that have been burning so intensely since we completed the installation.
Undoubtedly challenged by the unique canvas the bin created for us. Nevertheless we worked with the client to optimize the logo with the surface in mind. Clearly impactful from far distance but not compromised by the unique surface.
