Bay Area Restaurant Mural. Our long time partner, MOD Pizza was looking to add a more traditional graffiti look for their Castro Valley, CA location. Our team was up to the task! We created a texturized graffiti wall with a rainbow gradient. Done in spray paint with the the words “Come As You Are”. The colorful mural is a centerpiece in the fast food restaurant. It attracts the eyes of all the customers in line. This Bay Area restaurant mural gives the location an edge!
MOD LOVE
Additionally, this location has a piece that heavily plays with typography with an install that reads as “MOD” or as “Love” depending upon which way you read it – from top to bottom or bottom to top.
Brushwork
As with all MOD Pizza’s, we painted the MOD motto: “We make pizza so we can serve people. We call it spreading MODness”. While we are known as the spray paint specialists, these were painted using brush paint. As a matter of fact, this recent restaurant mural is a great example. You will find a wide range of mediums used. Spray paint, brushwork and printed distressed posters.
