A Mural in Maui: Art Meets Celebration
On October 18, 2024, the picturesque shores of Wailea set the stage for a unique collaboration to create a maui mural with @woodenwave. This husband-and-wife graffiti art duo is renowned for their playful, architectural-inspired style. This time, they created 60 individual canvases that combined to form one powerful message.
A Unique Request with a Purpose
Our client approached us with a special request for their event. They wanted to design a custom art piece that would serve as a visual during a corporate event. This later transformed into 60 individual giveaways for the attendees. The goal was to deliver not just beauty but also meaningful symbolism. The artwork needed to honor connection, teamwork, and accomplishment.
“Better Together” Through the Banyan Tree
The final mural featured a banyan tree, selected to reflect the event’s “Better Together” theme. With its deeply woven roots and expansive branches, the banyan tree naturally represents the strength that comes from individuals working as one. As a result, it became a powerful metaphor for the top-performing team members being honored.
An Unforgettable Moment by the Ocean
We brought the installation to life at the Grand Wailea, a stunning beachfront venue that provided the perfect backdrop. As the event unfolded, attendees were asked to remove a canvas from the wall to take home. Each canvas, once part of the whole, transformed into a personal keepsake.
