Asian Street Art for Wagamama

Asian Street Art for Wagamama. Wagamama is a British restaurant chain, serving Asian food based on Japanese cuisine. They invited Graffiti Arts to paint an indoor mural for their new 6th Avenue location in New York City. We collaborated with their marketing team to create a design with Asian street art flare. The hand painted artwork adds a softer touch to the clean interior layout. Two or three colors on a distressed bronze background. Of course, it would not be complete without subtle distress and paint splats.

Not only did they have a talking piece for diners but they also were able to create some buzz and entertainment. The mural was completed during their Grand Opening party event. It’s not often you get to see the artists process live. Attendees showed their appreciation throughout the event. Certainly a project we’re excited with the outcome. Above all the client was happy with the mural. We look forward to working with Wagamama on their next Asian street art mural!
