Press event live art created in Los Angeles for our client. Team One, an advertising, digital and media agency reached out for our services in supporting a press event for a collaboration between Lexus and Marvel for the new Black Panther film, which stars Lexus’ newest car: the LC luxury coupe. A custom Marvel & Lexus graphic novel was created as part of the collaboration. The first four chapters of this novel were released during this press event.
We had the desire to create something unique and attention-grabbing. As a result, we created a large LED light-up canvas. The artwork featured the new Lexus car in a comic book style piece of artwork. Our artist was live on-site during the event painting the finishing touches to the canvas. Furthermore, the bright LED lights were beaming through the car’s headlights. We also lit up the skyline as well with some additional custom LED lighting.
Our graffiti artists are perfect for live art at press events. They are very comfortable in front of the camera. In addition, the painting element is a form of entertainment for guests.
We cut out the shape of the car as a separate layer. Therefore, we were able to install the LED lighting elements behind it. As a result, it gave the skyline a glowing effect.
