Where do you think would be the best place to find live artwork in Charlotte? Turns out, local events and conferences are the first place to look! Graffiti USA is likely to be the professional street art company you will see there. Our artists love having fun with the experience, and this one was especially exciting to be a part of.
Continental Tire engaged in friendly competition with their home continent’s HQ in Europe for years. Finally, they surpassed their partners across the pond in 2019! We were cordially invited to play a role in the festivities. Naturally, we happily joined in.
The day-long conference and gala event took place at the Ballentyne Hotel in Charlotte, NC. Acting as live-art entertainment, we decided to create two 3’x4’ canvases side by side. In the weeks leading up to the event, Continental designed the piece with us. With concise and clear feedback, their team collaborated with us throughout the drafting process. This included suggestions for sketch revisions, brand imagery, character values, and company identity. Afterwards, the canvases live at the Continental office in a place of honor above the xerox machine.
