Insight Global and their creative partners Drew & Sarah came to us to help them announce Insight Global’s new brand identity. We helped them achieve this through a series of hand-painted ads murals. First, D&S developed the content. Then, they asked us to provide locations in multiple cities to paint the advertisements.

Ultimately, our mural artists did three installs together. Each design was different aesthetically. Each was done in a way to touch on something specific to the state or city the wall is in. Similarly, there were essential factors that were important for Insight Global during the selection process. Factors like the site-specific nature of the creative content, the location details, and the context surrounding each wall. Their team wanted the scene to depict one of the town’s iconic locations. For example, the boardwalk in Venice, CA (another hand-painted wall-scape we worked on together), or Wrigley Field in Chicago for this one.

Through the pairing of content and location, these hand-painted ads murals served their traditional purpose of outdoor advertising during their run. In addition, the murals also serve as city-specific local backdrops. Specifically, these mural backdrops are used for various interviews and video captures to be used in other aspects of the national rebrand campaign.
