Chicago live sneaker art by our local graffiti artist.  We recently worked with Mr. Alan’s sneaker store on a their grand opening of their Chicago store. Our artist created a live piece inspired by his favorite Jordans.

We were happy to take on this last minute project because our artist was heavily involved in the sneaker culture.  As a result, we had a concept immediately going into this project.  Firstly, we purchased a stretched canvas and an easel.  Secondly, we came up witha  rough design based on Jordan 3’s.  Thirdly, our artist prepared some of the sketch off site.  Finally, we completed the Chicago live sneaker art during the store event.

In addition, there was even a guest appearance by Twista. Our sneaker chain client plans to open up several sores in the near future in the midwest market!  In conclusion, check out some of the artwork and a video recap of the event below:

The cement designs on the classic Jordans were a perfect texture to play with.  We also incorporated the client’s logo into the background of the piece.

Typically, we would use spray paint for live art.  However, we wanted to make sure no overspray got onto the products during this Chicago live sneaker art.
