Custom canvas mural. Graffiti Arts was commissioned by the Minnesota Vikings for the 2021 NFL Draft. We designed multiple digital designs for their special event. The designs used across the Vikings multiple social channels. First, while draft pick rounds were live. Secondly after the draft. On their website and various NFL channels.
In addition to the digital designs, we designed and hand painted a 6′ x 12′ canvas mural. It was important for us to create a hand painted design. Without a doubt the paint application creates interesting texture. Texture that can not be replicated digitally. Importantly making the mural feel authentic. Whereas many marketing teams don’t see the value, the Vikings team did! Clearly shown in the details.
Sporting Events – Custom Murals
We were able to mix in some spray paint with the half tone dots incorporated in the mural. Small, perfect circles are never easy to paint with brush! We are very excited with how this all came together. The client was great with direction and letting our artists do what they do best. We feel that street art is a great way to market sporting events these days. It’s a more impactful and exciting visual that goes hand in hand with the action and excitement of watching a game. Peaking in on the Graffiti Arts studio as one of the artist’s collective is placing the final details. Not only did the custom canvas mural serve as a graphic during the draft but it now also lives at U.S. Bank Stadium. Proudly on display. The canvas made it’s journey from NYC. Let’s go Vikings!
