Festival Street Art for the annual Governors Ball Music Festival. The much anticipated Governors Ball returned to CitiField this year in Flushing Queens, NYC! For those unfamiliar with the Governors (Gov) Ball, it is a multi-day music festival held on Randalls Island in New York City. This festival features an array of genres and styles of music. These styles of music include rock, electronic, hip-hop, indie, Americana, pop, folk, and more.

Graffiti USA painted two large murals that served as walls to the main stages. We worked closely with the GovBall team to develop a cohesive mural theme for this year’s event.

The two main stage walls were a series of shipping containers placed together to form one large wall. In addition to the large murals, individual containers served as separate murals throughout the festival. In the same way, our mural artists created smaller murals with various NYC themes. Because of this, the smaller murals created great opportunities for selfies.

Throughout the weekend, social media was buzzing with festival-goers. They shared selfies with the murals they liked. As a result, these festival street art murals served as unique backdrops.

Overall, we are happy with the results of these incredible Festival Street art murals. Check out some of our past Festival Street Art for the Gov Ball Music Festival: GovBallNYC Music Festival Graffiti Backdrop Photo Op
