New Balance Interactive Sound Mural at Brooklyn Half Marathon

Check out Graffiti USA’s interactive sound mural! Creating graffiti for marathons is something we’ve done before. As a result, creating an innovative graffiti art experience was a perfect opportunity for our artists to get their hands dirty with a mixed media project. In this project, participants play with touch points on the interactive sound mural to activate the sound making this graffiti truly unique.

We are glad to once again partner with New Balance for the 2017 Brooklyn Half Marathon. For this year’s Pre-Party and badge pick up, we set up an interactive sound mural at Pier 2 in Brooklyn Bridge Park. The “Welcome To Brooklyn” artwork provided a great photo op for the runners. Everyone from kids to adults loved playing with the mural to create their own music. Touch points on the mural triggered different sound samples.
