A new Chinese style BBQ restaurant in Flushing, Queens reached out to us to help create an urban environment in their new restaurant. Being Queens natives, we couldn’t turn this one down. The restaurant was located in a basement level so we added a lot of street graffiti to accentuate the “underground” look. In addition to a caricature style logo reproduction, we added a lot of traditional NYC style graffiti as well. The mural gave the restaurant a much more interesting/fun atmosphere giving patrons a lot more to look instead of plain cinderblock walls. The client liked it so much they invited us back to also tag up their bathrooms! Photos of the installation below:
We collaborated with The Gatsby’s Bar/Restaurant in SoHo, NY to create a NYC themed street art piece. The imagery for the wheat paste was provided to us by the client and we put it all together in a cohesive piece that tied in with the interior design. It’s always great to create pieces with tributes to the soul of old school New York City (Keith Haring, Warhol, Grandmaster Flash, CBGB, Ramones, etc.) Check out some installation photos below and drop by the bar at 53 Spring St. if you are ever in the area!

In 2015, we worked on a street art mural project in collaboration with West Chin Architects & Interior Designers for a new restaurant called Momi Ramen opening in East Hampton, NY. We were very happy with how this piece came out. You can see the installation photos below.
We recently worked with the newly opened “The Jones” restaurant in Hell’s Kitchen to create a unique mural in their space. “The Jones, a “cocktail-centric, food-oriented, highly stylized establishment” serving New American cuisine with a focus on comfort food, was expected to open for dinner at 5 p.m. Sunday at 788 Ninth Ave.” –DNA info. We worked on a last minute graffiti project for the Kargo holiday party in Chicago. The party was hosted at Gus’ World Famous Fried Chicken in Chicago, IL last month. For this project, rather than just customizing products one by one, we had the concept of creating an iPhone case wall/canvas made up of 150 phone cases. A live graffiti artist (Mime) would then create a large abstract piece over all the cases as entertainment. When the piece was completed, the company employees picked their preference of cases off the wall and got to go home with it! It was a fun and interactive event. Some iPhone photos of the event are below but we are waiting to get some higher res images to share from the client soon!
At Graffiti USA, we also offer sign painting and logo reproduction services. Please see some samples of the type of work that we can do below. We can do freehand painted logos, die cut reverse stencils (allow for smooth gradients utilizing spray paint) as well as die cut vinyl installations. In order to provide an accurate quote, we would need the following information:
Approximate size of the wall space and logo to be painted
Vector file of the logo
Surface that the logo is to be installed on
Using spray paint for logos allows gradients that aren’t possible when using brush. It also allows uneven surfaces to be painted that is not possible using brush.
Greetings from Emporium Chicago! We had the opportunity to paint a mural in collaboration with the Greetings Tour in Chicago, IL recently. The concept was a 24×10 foot mural in a large letter postcard style image. Inside the letters, we filled it with different elements of the bar and vintage arcade games. We gave the piece an 8-bit feel although it wasn’t easy to paint pixelated imagery using spray paint! Check out some photos of the installation below. Next time you are in Chicago and looking to grab a drink, you can check out the mural at 2363 N Milwaukee Ave, Chicago, IL 60647.
We recently completed a mural for a new restaurant in the financial district in NYC called La Dama located at 66 Pearl St. For this project, we worked with the owner on making his vision come to life. The concept was to mix the bright colors of Latin American culture with a Statue of Liberty theme. All of the artwork was painted using spray paint. Check out some photos of the finished artwork below along with some installation photos.
