Bio:

Victor Ving was born in 1983 and raised in Queens, NY as a first generation Chinese-American.  At an early age, he was fascinated with the street art he would see on grocery shopping trips to Chinatown. This would later lead to his passion for traveling and seeking out more of this mysterious artwork.  Starting around 1999, Victor started painting his own public artwork around NYC and became quickly addicted to going to find walls in different neighborhoods and eventually different states and countries.  Beginning in May of 2015, Victor will be packing his life into a RV and traveling the United States for a year painting vintage postcard inspired public murals as part of the Greetings Tour (http://greetingstour.com) project.

Victor participated in the 2014 NYC Faberge Egg Hunt and created a custom public egg sculpture in collaboration with DKNY.  His work has been featured in The NY TimesWomen’s Wear DailyThe Washington PostNewsdayNY1 and Sing Tao (Chinese Newspaper)  He was also featured on ABC News Nightline and CBS News recently this year for his mural work.  Some of his mural clients include Sixty Hotels, Facebook, LinkedIn, DKNY, Vice, Related Properties, Vornado Properties and more!
